Description

We are representing our long term clients in seeking a proactive, highly detailed Housekeeper for a busy family home. The ideal candidate will take total ownership of daily cleanliness, laundry, vendor coordination, and light household logistics, ensuring the home runs smoothly and seamlessly.

There will be deep cleaners twice per week to handle heavy scrubbing and structural maintenance; this role focuses on high-touch daily upkeep, detailed laundry and garment care, and primary vendor oversight. The home is 13,000 sqft with a guest house

Household Dynamics

• Family Profile: 3 older children/teens (18-year-old away at college, 17 year-old and 15-year-old).

• Pets: Medium mixed-breed dog, 1 cat, and 1 rabbit housed in the garage.

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in private high-end estates or full-charge housekeeping roles.

• Understanding of garment care, delicate fabric laundry, and professional ironing.

• Outstanding communication skills for managing external vendors and contractors.

• Animal lover comfortable around dogs, cats, and small caged pets.

• Punctual, discreet, trustworthy, and adaptable to fluctuating household quiet times.

Responsibilities

• Daily tidying, counter wiping, kitchen resets, dishwasher management, vacuuming high-traffic areas, and garbage/recycling removal.

• Complete wash, dry, fold, and organization of family linens and clothing. Professional ironing of husband’s work shirts and formal attire.

Vendor Oversight

• Act as the point of contact for service providers, home contractors, and external maintenance crews.

• Work directly with our external property management/maintenance vendor overseeing structural upkeep across the property (~13,000 sq. ft.).

• Coordinate schedules and access for the bi-weekly deep-cleaning company.

Pet Care & Event Support

• Pet Care Support: Friendly interaction with and light daily care for family pets:

  • 1 medium mixed-breed dog (letting out, checking water/food)

  • 1 cat (indoor care)

  • 1 rabbit (in cage setup in the garage)

• Event & Party Assistance: Occasional support for hosting or private gatherings (setting up spaces, helping with service, or post-event cleanup as needed during working hours).
