Description

A Bay Area family is looking for a Housekeeper who will help maintain their primary residence(s) as well as travel to other locations. The candidate must have experienced working in a fine home, demonstrating skills in all aspects of household cleaning, including hands-on care of fine furniture, floors, walls, artwork, glass doors and windows, lighting fixtures, fabrics, and more. Their primary focus will be to keep households clean, organized and in excellent condition as well as help to maintain and manage household inventories.

This position will require travel to various property locations, at times with short notice. Candidates must be flexible with no travel limitations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Core Requirements:

• General Housekeeping:
  • Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the main residence and guest
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and living
  • Make beds, change linens, and perform laundry duties, including
• Specialized Cleaning:
  • Care for high-end surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings with appropriate cleaning products and techniques.

• Organizational Tasks:
  • Maintain household organization, including closets, pantries, and storage
  • Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and household items, ensuring they are stocked and reordered as necessary.
• Collaborative Duties:
  • Work closely with the house manager and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the household.

• Communicate effectively with the house manager to report any issues or needs within the home.
• Assist with special projects or events as directed by the house manager or family
• Provide occasional assistance with meal preparation and service during family gatherings or events.
