Position: Proactive & Autonomous Family Assistant Needed in Glen Park, SF
Schedule: Monday to Friday 30 hours/week (approx. 12:30-6:30pm; for an excellent fit the family is open to discussing the schedule and additional hours if needed)
Salary Amount or Range: $45-$50/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description
A family in the Glen Park area of SF is seeking a proactive Family Assistant. Duties include a combination of household and childcare such as running errands, preparing simple dinners for the family, packing kids’ lunches for school, light tidying and organizing, family laundry, and post-dinner clean-up. Their children are 7-months and 3-years old and both in school full-time until 5pm. The FA will be responsible or school pick-up and helping with the evening routine.
Their ideal candidate excels at working autonomously and doesn’t need a lot of direction; an experienced FA who sees what needs to be done and is comfortable jumping in will be the best fit!
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a family assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluent in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated (ideal)
- TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (family will reimburse for mileage if candidate uses their own car; they are also open to providing a household vehicle)
- Detail-oriented
- Proactive
- Autonomous; sees what needs to be done and tackles it
- Warm, caring
- Excellent communication
- Can make at least year commitment
Responsibilities
- Care for the children
