Description
A busy, easygoing household in Belvedere is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented family assistant / junior PA. Duties include meal planning and preparing dinner for the family daily (4 adults), general light housekeeping (they have a deep cleaner), vendor and project management, running errands, family laundry, and pet care for their dogs.
Their ideal candidate doesn’t need much direction and is great at noticing what needs to get done and tackling it. Someone who enjoys cooking and meal planning, who is tech savvy, easygoing, and professional will be the best fit.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- MMR, TB, Tdap vaccines
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for work-related driving (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Enjoys cooking and meal planning
- Self-starter and proactive
- Tech savvy
- Time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Casual and easygoing but professional
- Project management experience a plus
- Comfortable with small and large dogs
- Can make a long-term commitment (ideally a few years)
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation and daily cooking for 4 (and associated grocery shopping)
- Family laundry
- Light housework (they have a housecleaner that comes in once a week)
- Making the children’s beds
- Running errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, etc.
- Dog walking on days the dog walker is not there
- Some computer work (submitting medical claims, printing out return slips for packages, etc.)
- Management of service providers/repairmen (plumber, hot tub maintenance person, etc.)
- Some project management (family is in the middle of a household renovation)
