Description

This is a lovely couple who reside in El Dorado Hills and have multiple homes on the property. There is also a business office on site that has business associates and guests that the cook will prepare meals for occasionally.

The household is seeking a cook who loves to prepare many different cuisines and family recipes and will work with the head of household who has been the family chef and is a foodie. You should enjoy preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most days you will prep dinner and leave it for the family to serve. There will be occasional business lunches to prepare and a typical day will include breakfast preparation for the family in residence. There is also a business office on site that has business associates and guests that the cook will prepare meals for occasionally.

This is a busy household where all parties are active, energetic and engaged in many daily business projects. You will have the responsibility of keeping the pantry stocked and the refrigerator full with healthy snacks. You should enjoy menu planning and coordinating menus with the head of household.

This is a multi-staffed home and the cook will back up the full time housekeeper when they are on vacation. The ideal candidate is a person who is upbeat, organized, has a great memory and loves to cook.

This is a full-time hourly position. Monday to Friday with flexible hours. A driver with their own car for transportation to and from the home is necessary. There will be reimbursement for car expenses if/when the car is used for the employers’ shopping, etc.

Candidates should have long-term private service experience with excellent references that can be verified by telephone.

Experience Requirements

– 3 years minimum experience working in a private home with verifiable references
