Position: Professional, Organized Family Assistant Needed in Saratoga
Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours guaranteed (the weeks alternate between 9-5p and a split-shift – see below for details)
Salary Amount or Range: $45-$50/hour D.O.E. + PTO, sick leave, $600monthly health stipend, and retirement contribution
Children: 9 and 11 year old boys
Pets: 2 x dogs + chickens

Description
A family in Saratoga is seeking an organized, proactive Family Assistant. Their children are with them 50% of the time, so the schedule will alternate every other week. When the children are not at the house, the schedule will be 9-5p with a focus on household tasks. When the children are present, the schedule will be a split shift starting at 7:15am and ending at 5p (Fridays end at 6pm). The FA is welcome to manage their hours (i.e. coming back to the home in the morning after school drop-off, or coming back a few hours before school pick up at 3pm).
Duties include driving the children, running errands, maintaining the home (watering plants, organizing, keeping the household stocked), light pet care, managing household vendors, folding laundry, and simple meal prep.
Their ideal candidate is professional, flexible and looking for a long-term commitment.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English

- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household car for work-related driving or reimburse for mileage if employee uses their own vehicle)
