Position: PT Newborn Nanny / Family Assistant Needed Mornings in the Marina, SF
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8a-12p + option to work Saturday or Sunday 8a-12p (20-24 hours per week)
Salary Amount or Range: $43-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description
First-time parents in the Marina are seeking an experienced newborn nanny / family assistant to care for their 9-week-old baby and help with light household tasks. Mom is home full-time with the baby and hands-on, so this role is ideal for a collaborative nanny who is comfortable supporting both baby and household flow when mom takes time for herself. Responsibilities include caring for baby, supporting development, preparing and washing bottles, light tidying, child laundry, running errands, and light dinner prep.
The best person for them has prior experience working with newborns and can seamlessly shift between childcare and household tasks. Ultimately someone warm and collaborative will be the best fit.
Schedule (approximately 20-24 hours per week):
- Monday–Friday: 8:00am–12:00pm
- Optional Weekend Day (Sat or Sun): 8:00am–12:00pm
Experience Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Prior experience working with newborns
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- TB and Tdap up to date
- CPR Certified
- Prior newborn experience
- Warm, calm, collaborative
- Comfortable working alongside stay-at-home mom
- Takes initiative
- Can seamlessly shift between childcare and household support
- Can make at least a year commitment
Responsibilities
Childcare:
- Attentive, nurturing care for baby
- Supporting age-appropriate development
- Maintaining feeding, nap, and soothing routines
- Diapering and bottle prep/cleaning
- Child laundry
- Assisting with developmental transitions
Household support:
- Light dinner prep (e.g., chopping vegetables)
- Light tidying
- Running occasional errands
