Description

Sweet, down-to-earth family seeks a teacher for their two children, ages 3 and 6 years old. The children are enrolled in their respective schools and will be distance learning for the foreseeable future. They are looking for a proactive, genuine, dependable teacher to take the schools’ curriculum and supplement with additional learning focused on writing, reading and arithmetic. Their ideal candidate will utilize the family’s makeshift classroom to create educational structure, but also incorporate free-form and outdoor play in creative and fun ways! Someone who is enthusiastic, comfortable taking the lead and has experience lesson planning will be the best fit for this family. Lessons will be one-on-one as they have a full-time nanny who will care for one of the children while you work with the other.

This family travels often (domestic and international) and are not certain if they will need their teacher to travel with them, but they’d like someone willing and excited to if the need arises! If they do travel without their teacher, the teacher will be expected to continue instructing the children virtually.

Experience Requirements

• 3 years minimum working in a classroom setting with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Credentialed K-6, Multiple Subjects
• Experience teaching lower elementary
