Description

Our wonderful return clients are seeking an afternoon housekeeper/house manager to help with the afternoon/evening hustle and bustle in the home.

Experience Requirements

2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references

Educational Requirements

Fluency in English

Qualifications

Must have professional experience as a house manager for a family
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to use it for work (including driving children occasionally if necessary)
• Long-term intent
• Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• An individual who is flexible, self-motivated, a team player, and energetic
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds
• Fluency in English is required
• Excellent references and a clean background check (a background check will be conducted prior to the start of employment)

Responsibilities

Keep pantry and household inventory stocked via Instacart

Laundry for all five members of family (2 adults, 3 kids)

Organize rooms, keep organized daily

Make beds daily

Monitor room supplies and refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, etc as needed

Assist in purging old kids clothes and personal items as needed

Tidy backyard, clean up furniture, sweeps decks – put away cushions in Fall, take out in Spring

Assist in light mean prep at dinner time or making snacks for kids after school

Stay home with younger kids when mom out driving as needed

Every other Thursday (when cleaners come), use time to run errands or other larger projects (eg donations to goodwill)

Handle dry cleaning valet service logistics

Empty trash cans and takes bins out every Mon, brings in every Tues afternoon

Let in repairmen, vendors, deliveries, etc

Proactively keep home running smoothly

No deep cleaning required; house cleaners come every other week

Added bonus: We would love someone who may be open to staying overnight with the kids once in a while (mostly weekends) as needed. Not a deal breaker, but a nice to have.
