Be able to coincide one week of vacation with family’s travel time.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 10am-6pm or 6:30pm depending on service type
Meals: Lunch (12:00 PM) & Dinner (6:00 PM)

A wonderful family of 3 in Pacific Heights are seeking an experienced, versatile, and professional Full-Time Private Chef. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for healthy, farm-to-table cuisine and the ability to execute a diverse culinary repertoire.
This role requires a culinary professional who thrives in a quiet, serene home environment and values discretion. The household includes a live-in nanny, so working harmoniously alongside other staff is essential.
Culinary Profile & Dietary Focus
The family enjoys these restaurants: Quince, Kokkari, Dalida, Spruce, Harborview
The chef should excel in: Farm-to-Table California cuisine & Health-Conscious: Balanced, nutrient-dense meals with some low-carb, vegetarian dishes
The family is open to a variety of cuisines from Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) to Mediterranean Flavors.
Versatility: Some dinners will be plated and served and others family style.
Experience Requirements
2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references.
Educational Requirements
Culinary degree preferred
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Private Chef for with great references
Strong knowledge of California’s seasonal produce and local purveyors.
Personality Match: Professional, highly discreet, not too talkative and comfortable in a quiet household.
Must be willing and able to travel to Lake Tahoe as needed.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
Menu Planning & Provisioning: Source the highest quality organic, local, and seasonal ingredients from Bay Area markets. Manage full pantry inventory, kitchen organization, and provisioning for both the SF residence and Lake Tahoe.
Culinary Execution: Prepare fresh, healthy lunches (served at noon) and dinners (served at 6:00 PM) for the family.
Lunch is typically the largest, most substantial meal of the day.
Dinner service will vary between family-style and formal, plated/seated service
Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and food storage areas, adhering to the highest standards of food safety.
Travel: Accompany the family on seasonal trips to Lake Tahoe to provide continuous culinary service.
