Description

Lovely family of 3 in Pacific Heights is seeking a part time chef for immediate hire. The principals both work full-time and live in a fully renovated Victorian home in Pacific Heights. They employ a full-time Nanny for their 3 year old child and have a part-time Housekeeper. Both of the Principals currently work from home given the pandemic. The family would like a local to San Francisco candidate or within 10-15 min commute to S.F. The family wants a chef whose focus is providing beautiful family meals: Farm-to-table, California, healthy but with taste. Ie. Dumplings and pastas with lots of love.

Schedule: Ideally three days per week (Mon, Wed, Friday with some flexibility for other days)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Draft weekly menu in advance and email to clients for approval each week and shop for groceries
• Prepare fresh lunch and dinner three days per week and 3 additional dinners for the family to eat on off days. Plus, guests (as needed)
• Leave meals prepared for family to re-heat or cook; potential for extra hours to cook for dinner parties a few times per quarter (on weekends)
• Family enjoys Greek, Mediterranean, Asian fusion cuisines; no dietary restrictions
• Clean kitchen after cooking and maintain Neat method for organization

Requirements:

• Ideal Candidate will have experience in a private home with strong references
• Creative with meals and provides menu planning
• Ability to communicate effectively via email and text message
• Strong sense of motivation, someone who enjoys working as a part of a team
• Has Covid vaccination
