Position: Seasoned Family Assistant Needed FT in Los Altos
Schedule: 40 hours Monday to Friday 10a.m.-6 p.m. or 11 a.m.-7 p.m. depending on candidate’s preference
Salary Amount or Range: $43-$47/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + health

Description

A family in Los Altos is seeking a seasonsed, professional Family Assistant to help with childcare for their two kids (ages 6 and 9 years old) and keep the household running smoothly. Childcare responsibilities include driving the children to/from school and extra-curriculars, planning and attending activities and classes, homework help, and engaging them in stimulating and fun activities during downtime. Household tasks include light tidying and organization, running errands, meal prep and simple cooking, and family laundry.

Their ideal candidate is friendly and discrete who excels at multi-tasking and is a quick-thinker. Some experience with children with ADHD is helpful as their youngest was recently diagnosed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for career growth as the family is hoping to find a candidate who can grow with them as their needs change and take on more house management such as handling vendors, admin and calendaring, travel planning, etc.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Multi-tasker and quick-thinker
• Experience working in a UHNW home
• Excellent communication
• Experince working with children with ADHD

• Seeking a long-term commitment and can grow with the family as their needs change
