Position: Super Sweet Nanny for Newborn in Noe Valley (ON HOLD)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6/6:30 AM to 2/2:30 PM (family is open to fewer hours depending on candidate’s preferences)
Salary Amount or Range: $35-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)
Children: baby girl currently 7-weeks-old
Pets: 1 x small dog

A family in Noe Valley is seeking a warm, loving nanny to partner with a super sweet stay-at-home mom in caring for their baby girl who is currently 7-weeks-old. Responsibilities include all child-related care such as preparing and sanitizing bottles, laundry, tidying and organizing the nursery and common areas, and working in tandem with mom on development and milestones.

Their ideal person is comfortable and happy to work independently as well as with mom including attending some activities and outings together. Someone who is genuine, compassionate, and knowledgeable in child development will be the best fit.

The family would love someone willing and flexible to travel with them occasionally such as a weekend in Napa. There is the possibility for more travel in the future once they adjust with their baby.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Korean; nice to have, not required

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated and boosted
• TB and Tdap
• CPR Certified
• Willingness and flexibility to travel (occasional weekend trips to Napa, plus the possibility of additional travel in the future once baby gets older)
• Comfortable with stay at home parent and partnering with mom who enjoys being hands-on
• Comfortable with small dogs
• Warm, engaging
• Happy to pitch-in where needed
• Excellent communication
• Newborn experience
• Genuinely loves being a nanny
• Can make a long term commitment

Responsibilities

• Help with morning hand-off from the NCS
• Working on developmental milestones
• Attending some activities and outings with mom
• Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
• Loading / unloading dishwasher
• Child laundry
• Organize nursery and play areas
• Light tidying (nursery, play and common areas)
• Help with transitions (nap schedule, preparing solids, etc.)
• Occasionally walk small dog
