Schedule: Schedule alternates: Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday *weekdays will be 12-8mpm, weekends same or potentially earlier or 8a-8p
Salary Amount or Range: $50-$55/hour DOE + standard (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + up to $500 health stipend
Children: 7, 9 and 11 years old

Description
Full time Nanny wanted for a lovely family in Mountain View. The nanny will be responsible for their three older children, ages 7 (boy), 9 (girl), and 11 (boy) years old. Their ideal candidate is young at heart and vibrant, who can engage with the children physically and connect with them on activities they enjoy. This would include outdoor activities, sports, trampoline, Legos, 3-D printing, dance (hip hop), etc. Responsibilities include picking the children up from school, driving to activities or play dates, helping with organization, kids clothing, closets, meal prep, dishes, light housekeeping, and light pet care, etc.
They are looking for a very family-oriented, enthusiastic, active, caring and nurturing individual. Parents are present at home and very involved in raising the children, but need an extra set of hands. They would love to find a nanny who can stay with them for several years and is committed to long term employment. They would greatly value someone with 5+ years of experience as a nanny, with tween experience. Ideally they are looking for a candidate that brings great energy and ideas to engage and entertain the children in a way that will help establish a lasting connection.
Must also have ability to travel outside of the US a few times per year.
The schedule alternates:
- Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- *weekdays will be 12-8pm, weekends same or potentially earlier or 8am-8pm
Experience Requirements
- 5 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable reference
Educational Requirements
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID vaccinated + booster
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record – family can provide a vehicle for work-related driving
- Experienced with tweens/school-age children
- Young at heart
- Excels at planning activities and connecting with school-age children
- Travel flexibility – a few times per year, domestic and/or international
- Focused and engaged
- College educated
- Excellent communication
- Can make a long term commitment
Responsibilities
- All child-related care
- Driving children (from school to activities)
- Planning activities around the children’s interests
- Light tidying pertaining to children/common areas
- Simple cooking/prep for the children’s meals and snacks
- Children’s laundry
- Light pet care: occasionally let the dog out and put harness on when dog walker arrives; drive/pick up from groomer once in awhile
