A thoughtful, loving family in West Portal is looking for a dedicated professional nanny to join their household in a meaningful, long-term role. Their energetic toddler is curious, expressive, and full of personality — with a love of imaginative play, creative projects, and outdoor adventures. They also have an infant, making attentive, developmentally appropriate dual-age care an essential part of this role. The toddler attends preschool. The family’s home includes a backyard, the neighborhood offers parks, a library, and the charm of downtown West Portal all within easy walking distance.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent who works closely and collaboratively with her caregiving team. The household also includes a personal assistant. The ideal candidate is high-energy, loving, and safety-conscious while nurturing independence and curiosity in both children, and brings genuine warmth and professionalism to every aspect of the role. Responsibilities include planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings, meal prep for the children, tidying and organizing children’s spaces, coordinating preschool drop-off/pick-up routines, occasional errands, and light family support tasks such as children’s laundry and dishes. This family leads with mutual respect and open communication, and is looking for a nanny who truly sees this as a partnership.
