A family in Sunnyvale is seeking a warm, loving nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities, working on milestones, preparing bottles and child-friendly meals, helping with developmental transitions, child laundry, and light tidying.

Their ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years’ experience caring for children from infancy to toddlerhood, is actively engaged and present when working, and comfortable coexisting with extended family visiting from abroad. Ultimately the best person for them is cheerful, genuine, and will be with their family for at least a few years!

Experience Requirements

• 4 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + boosted
• Current on vaccinations: TB, Tdap, MMR and annual flu
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record
• Minimum 4 years of experience caring for infants Long-term experience caring for children from infancy to toddlerhood
• Demonstrates warmth and kindness
• Loving and cheerful
• Engaging
• Energetic
• Comfortable coexisting with extended family when visiting
• Can make a long-term commitment (ideally 2+ years)

Responsibilities

• Fully engage and converse with baby
• Nurture baby’s development and plan age-appropriate activities
• Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
• Prepare child-friendly solids, meals and snacks
• Assist with developmental transitions
• Child’s laundry
• Light tidying (nursery, common areas, play areas, kitchen)
• Organization of child play areas, baby clothing, etc.
