Position: Weekend Nanny Needed for 3 Elementary-Age Kids in Cow Hollow
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 8 AM to 5/6 PM + flexibility to occasionally work later on Saturdays for date nights
Salary Amount or Range: $43-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description

A family in Cow Hollow is seeking a warm, loving Weekend Nanny for to partner with them on childcare. Their boys are 4, 5 and 7 years old and busy with sports, birthday parties, and activties. This person will be responsible for dividing and conquering childcare; typically caring for one or two kids at a time (very rarely all three unless babysitting in the evening). Duties include driving to/from activities, engaging in play, planning crafts and fun things to do, preparing simple kid-friendly meals and snacks, and light tidying.

The best person for them is a good communicator, comfortable tag-teaming with parents, and genuinely loves working with kids! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for longevity as they’d love to find someone to work with their family for the next few years.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Spanish (preferred)

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated + boosted (ideally willing/staying up to date on booster)
• TB and Tdap vaccine
• CPR Certified
• Valid driver with clean record (family provides household vehicle for work-related driving)
• Really warm, loving
• Excellent communication
• Team player with parents
• Can make a long-term commitment (ideally a few years)

Responsibilities

• Act as an extra set of hands; partner with parents to divide and conquer childcare (nanny will rarely be watching all 3 children, usually just 1-2 at a time)
• Getting the kids to birthday parts, sports, activities, play dates, etc.
• Planning outings / arts and crafts
• Engaging in play
• Light tidying/organizing – engaging the kids in cleaning up their rooms, play room, etc. at end of the day
• Simple cooking for the kids (meal/snack)
• Child laundry on occasion as needed
