Position: Wonderful Marina Family Seeks 30-35 hour Family Assistant [FILLED]
Schedule: Schedule: Monday – Friday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. + one evening a week (32.5 hours/week guaranteed + additional hours available if candidate is interested)
Salary Amount or Range: $40-$45/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) + health stipend
Children: 7, 9 and 11 years old
Pets: 1 small Cocker spaniel
Bay Area Region: San Francisco

Description

Start date – late August / early fall

This wonderful family of 5 in the Marina/Cow Hollow district of San Francisco are seeking an afternoon family assistant to join their household. The ideal candidate is a bilingual English and Spanish speaker who is cheerful, very neat and organized, and brings positive energy. Someone who can command respect from the children. ie. tell them when it’s time to do homework.

The children are 7 year old boy, 9 and 11 year old girls.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience working as a Family Assistant

Educational Requirements

• Fluency in English

• Spanish a huge plus

Qualifications

• COVID-vaccinated and boosters up to date

• CPR Certified

• Valid driver with clean record (must have reliable vehicle for getting to and from work, family will provide permit for street parking)

• Reliable and punctual

• Communicates well with mom

• Team player

Responsibilities

• Errand running

• Dividing school pick up with mom and taking children to/from activities

• Ordering groceries from instacart or at the store

• Preparing simple meals for family, mom can give recipes and train

• Organizing toys, drawers, going through kids’ clothes, etc.

• Organizing pantries and cabinets

• Dishes after dinner

• Pet care for small dog
