Description

Wonderful family of 5 is seeking an experienced housekeeper-household assistant who has experience working on 10,000 sqft estates. There are 3 kids but but only a 16 year old will be living in the home while two others will be away at college. This is a casual environment on the day to day basis but does switch to formal during certain events.
Their ideal candidate is someone who has longevity with their prior families who will become an integral part of their household for many years to come. The family values having great communication, mutual support and respect for a lasting relationship. They appreciate someone who looks out for the family and will equally reciprocate kind gestures. The family values someone who is a fellow dog lover as they have a sweet mini Labradoodle. Someone who has experience working around events and dinner parties with a high level of privacy and discretion for the family and their guests.

Experience Requirements

5 years in a private home with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

English fluency is required

Qualifications

  • Great work ethic
  • Knowledge of cleaning and organizational techniques
  • White glove service, knows how to read a room
  • Experience working with high end furnishings
  • Goes with the flow
  • Able to liaise with vendors and delivery personnel
  • Tech savvy, email and text and ability to read shared calendar (i-Cal, Google)

Responsibilities

  • Full charge cleaning and laundry
  • Oversee dry cleaning
  • Willingness to occasionally walk dog
  • Food prep (chopping vegetables)
  • Assist with dinner parties as needed
  • Manage ordering of supplies
