A wonderful long term client of ours is seeking a new housekeeper after the last one we placed 35 years ago is retiring! The client lives by herself and is very active and maintains a busy social calendar. Other staff include an occasional cook and personal assistant. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working as part of the family and looking for a long term role.
Experience Requirements
2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English

Responsibilities

Execute full charge housekeeping including deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitization across all areas of the residence. Expertly care for high-end finishes, custom surfaces, and fine furnishings.

Maintain organization of closets, pantries, and storage areas. Ensure rooms are always neatly staged and welcoming for family and guests.

Work collaboratively with the private chef during family gatherings. Assist with clearing tables, loading and unloading the dishwashers, washing delicate serve ware, and performing kitchen cleanup.

Handle daily household laundry, including standard garments, fine linens, towels, and delicate fabrics. Perform steaming, ironing, and proper storage

Welcome family the family that visit the home occasionally. Ensure common areas remain entirely clear of pet hair and tracks.
